The Cooley-Moore Scholarship Luncheon Fashion Show
Always Bet on Pink… Timeless Style, Grace, and Fashion!
ABOUT THE EVENT
Several hundred women work diligently throughout the year to present a high end fashion show fundraiser to support scholarships for local high school students. This year the Ivy Foundation of Northern Virginia, Incorporated, the charitable affiliate of Alpha Kappa Sorority, Incorporated®, Zeta Chi Omega Chapter, will once again host its Annual Cooley-Moore Luncheon Fashion Show, “Always Bet on Pink…Timeless Style, Fashion and Grace”.
Proceeds from this event fund scholarships which are awarded to students attending high schools in Arlington and Alexandria, and may be used at an accredited two or four-year college or university.
Driven by our goal of awarding $60,000 in scholarship funds to underserved high school students in Arlington and Alexandria, this annual fundraiser features a luncheon, fashion show, music, shopping, door prizes and more. This year’s signature event will feature a boutique of vendors selling a variety of accessories, clothing, jewelry, and specialty items. Our last scholarship event entertained a sold out crowd of 700 people. Our sponsors and attendees include college educated women and men, community partners, and our scholarship recipients.
For more than 60 years, students have been awarded Cooley-Moore scholarships. Event proceeds enable the support of at least eight undergraduate students with four year scholarships. This highly anticipated event continues to provide financial support to benefit future scholarships and the social and cultural development of children.

WHY BECOME A SPONSOR
As an IFNV sponsor, you will directly impact underserved area students by providing them with critical financial assistance to fulfill their goals of attending and completing college. In the years since instituting its scholarship program, the IFNV has strengthened its support and increased financial scholarships to renewable four-year awards for talented and skilled youth that need substantive support to attend college. Rising college costs require more money and sustained financing to allow us to offer more and larger scholarship awards. Your corporate support will make a significant difference to our organization and will have a tangible impact in the lives of the students we touch. Your financial support for this signature program will allow the IFNV to continue serving deserving students.
