Ivy Foundation of Northern Virginia (IFNV) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Zeta Chi Omega Chapter are currently accepting applications for its 66th Debutante Cotillion Leadership Program.

For 70 years, the Zeta Chi Omega Chapter has served the communities of Arlington and Alexandria. The IFNV upholds Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated’s mission of serving all mankind through sponsorship of our Cotillion.

The 2026-2027 Debutante Cotillion Leadership Program is open to high school juniors or seniors, who demonstrate exemplary academic achievement, possess exceptional character, and have outstanding involvement in extracurricular activities and community service.

Throughout the Cotillion season, prospective debutantes engage in a variety of activities designed to:

• Strengthen academic and intellectual growth 
• Promote leadership and personal responsibility 
• Enhance cultural awareness and appreciation 
• Develop communication and interpersonal skills 
• Foster meaningful relationships and lifelong connections 
• Encourage civic engagement and community service.

The 2026-2027 Cotillion season starts in September with our Orientation and culminates in April with our Debutante Ball, where our participants are formally presented. Orientation will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in Alexandria, Virginia.
